Benefits of cloves!



Cloves, which play an important role in cooking, flavoring curries, and making curry spices, have numerous medicinal properties. Cloves are also used in perfumery and soap making.

Cloves contain carbohydrates, moisture, protein, volatile oil, fat, fiber, minerals, hydrochloric acid, calcium, phosphorus, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, vitamins C and A. The oil is extracted from the buds, leaves, and stems of cloves. Cloves have various medicinal properties. They are mostly used as a stimulant. It relieves many pains and is also an excellent remedy for stomach cramps.

Cloves stimulate the enzymes secreted by the digestive organs. This relieves indigestion. Roasting clove powder and mixing it with half a gram of honey will stop vomiting. An astringent substance in cloves causes some organs in the stomach to become rigid and prevents vomiting.

Chewing cloves with a little cooking salt will relieve throat irritation and hoarseness and will improve your throat. Roasted cloves are the best way to avoid irritation caused by a blocked throat. Mixing three drops of clove oil with honey and garlic juice and eating it before going to bed will improve airway inflammation caused by asthma.

Boil six cloves in thirty milliliters of water and drink the decoction mixed with honey to control asthma. Mixing clove powder with tooth powder can cure bad breath, swollen gums, and toothache. Applying clove oil to affected gums can cure the condition.

Warm a clove in 3-5 drops of sesame oil and place the oil in the painful ear to get relief. Applying clove oil to the area where the muscle is tense will help to relieve the pain. Grinding cloves and salt in cow’s milk and applying the paste will relieve the headache. Salt absorbs the water in the head, which reduces the heaviness of the head and provides relief. Rubbing cloves in water and using the water to treat inflammation in the eyelids will help to relieve the pain.
