Chilli – Garlic Soup Ingredients: Coarsely ground pepper – 1 tsp Sukuk powder – 1 tsp Garlic cloves – 5 Tomatoes – 1 Turmeric powder – 1 pinch Onion – 2 Coriander, Curry leaves – A little salt – As required Ghee – Half tsp. First of all, after heating the frying pan, add the chopped onion and chopped garlic and saute it.
Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, pepper powder, sukku powder, coriander, curry leaves and salt to it and saute well. Then pour two tumblers of water and boil it. When the soup mixture boils well and reduces to a tambourine size, switch off the stove and cover it.
Then strain and drink in moderate heat. Now the sweet pepper soup is ready for rains. Benefits: This soup made with pepper and garlic is a solution for colds, phlegm problems, digestive disorders etc. during monsoons.
Increases immunity in the body and keeps the body healthy.Mutton Markandum Soup Ingredients:Mutton (Markandum) -1/4 kg Pepper -1/2 teaspoon Onion -1 (small) Tomato -2 Ginger Garlic paste – 2 teaspoons Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon Salt, oil – required quantity Asparagus Curry leaves – a stick for seasoning, cloves – 1 piece.
Recipe: Finely chop onion and tomato. Clean the mutton and add onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder to the cooker and boil it for 5-6 whistles. Then, open the cooker and strain the water after boiling.
When the oil dries up in a pan, season the bark, cloves, and curry leaves and pour the distilled water into it, let it boil and serve after adding chili powder. Hot Mutton Markandum Soup is ready.Benefits: This soup is highly nutrient dense and improves immunity levels.
Removes toxins from the body and improves intestinal and liver health.Vegetable Soup Ingredients: Onion – 1 Potato – 2 Cabbage – 100 gm Carrot – 1 Beans – 7 or 8 Corn – 2 Tablespoon Green Peas – 2 Tablespoon Milk – One cup – 2 Cloves Ginger – A small piece of Brinjhi Leaf – One Pepper Powder – Half tsp salt – as required.Recipe: Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces. Chop onions and cabbage into large pieces.
Finely chop the garlic and ginger. Pour 3 cups of water into the cooker and add chopped potatoes, onions, cabbage, garlic, ginger, brinjal leaves, salt and cover and cook till 4 or 5 whistles. Finely chop carrots and beans and boil them separately along with corn and peas.
Remove the brinjal leaves from the boiled potato mixture and grind the boiled potatoes, onions, cabbage, garlic and ginger well in a mixer. Add milk to the ground paste and heat it on the stove (if too thick add little more milk).
